CANUSA Cruise with the Corvette Club of Windsor

 September 15th

CLC was invited to cross the boarder and hang out with the Corvette Club of Windsor for the day.  What a day it was!  Twenty-five international Corvettes all in a line.  First some coffee and cookies in their beautiful riverside park overlooking the Ren Cen.  Then on to a very informative tour of the Hiram Walker historic site of the original, and still operating, Canadian Club distillery.  Next, a nice country drive to a park along Lake Erie for hot dogs and chips.  Of course our next stop was some wine tasting before we headed back to the brand new Walkerville Brewery for some beer tasting.  Our last stop was for some Italian food at the famous Enzo's in Windsor.

Our hosts were absolutely fabulous as it was a great honor to get to know our neighbors to the east.  We all vowed that the CLC/CCW relationship will continue as we schedule more combined events.

Many thanks to Jim R. and CCW's Ian and Kristine for a wonderful day.

Thanks to Sandy and George for the photos
