CLC's Annual Family Picnic

June 29th

What a generous offer that Tom and Dawn made to host our annual family picnic - and what a huge success it was!  I think we had close to 50 members/prospective members/family and guests in the Petit's beautiful backyard.  Of course, with our great CLC cooks, the food was all delicious.  The weather was perfect which allowed the afternoon picnic to extend into a late night bonfire party.  The slot car setup was very popular as there was always a large group racing with some of the racers taking home cash prizes!     The only disappointing part of the of the day was when Tom P. and Juan took away the title of CLC's Corn Hole Bean Bag toss champions from John and me.  We talked about filing for a review of the scores (because they were very close) but decided to allow the youngsters enjoy the bragging rights for a little while before we beat them next time.
