On June
14th,
a sunny
Saturday
that had
several
“Corvette
Events”
scheduled
in and
around
the
Metro
Detroit
area,
three
CLC
members
and two
prospective
members
represented
Corvette
Legends
Club at
the GMC
Corvette
Set
“Corvette
Fest” at
Olde
World
Canterbury
Village
(one of
the MCCC
qualifying
shows).
In
addition
to the
Corvette
show,
there
was a
Silent
Auction,
Participant
Raffle,
50/50
Raffle,
live
band,
dining,
drinking
and
shopping
at the
restaurants
and
stores
at
Canterbury
Village.
This was
a judged
show
with
final
scores
determining
the
“First
Place”
and
“Outstanding”
trophies
for each
class.
George
won an
“Outstanding”
award in
the C6
Stock
Class.
Jan,
Mary and
Bill S.
came
away
with
some
shopping
and
Silent
Auction
treasures.
The day
was
capped
off with
dinner
at
Logan's
in
Canton.
